Mold Shop and Machine Repair Supervisor

About the role

The Lapel plant is located in a small Midwestern town with easy access to Indianapolis and offers a strong sense of community.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly personnel in all phases of machine and mold shop operation
• Analyze blueprints, job histories, and specifications to make recommendations relative to equipment operating adjustments and equipment design changes
• Responsible for department’s preventive maintenance program
• Conducts periodic inspections
• Manages department Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
• Ensures correct use of safety equipment and that safety policies are followed
• Oversees Mold Maker apprenticeship programs

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering preferred
• Previous machine repair experience in glass manufacturing preferred
• Prior mold shop operation experience preferred
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization
• Working knowledge of SAP desired

Benefits

Salary Range: The expected salary range for this position is between $105,000 - $115,000 and includes a possible 12% short-term incentive bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Pay

The salary range for this position is between $105,000 - $115,000 and includes a possible 12% short-term incentive bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
