Mold Setter

Responsibilities

• Perform removal and set up of molds, secondary and auxiliary equipment per set up documentation
• Ensure that material packaging and supporting equipment are in place and ready to complete the set up and start production
• Clean loaders, grinders, and hoppers along with other auxiliary equipment and area surrounding the press
• Load and unload material according to specifications
• Assure scrap issues are recorded and addressed and corrected in a timely manner
• Communicate with company employees in a positive, team-oriented manner
• Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations
• Maintain departmental housekeeping and standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency, required
• 3+ years’ experience as a Mold Setter preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate in English required
• Excellent mechanical skills
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
