Mold Setter
About the role
Assists and supports the person responsible for Mold Changes in ensuring that machines and components, molds, and accessories are changed safely and efficiently utilizing prior production data. Replaces heads and molds in Blow Molding equipment. Ensures Mold Changes are completed within defined timeframes. Assists Mold Change Setter II to perform start-up and process in molds that have been used for established products to meet QA approval. Maintains continuous communication with Supervisor, Maintenance, Mold Change Supervisor, and Mold Change Setter II.

Responsibilities
- Assists in safe and efficient mold changes using prior production data
- Replaces heads and molds in Blow Molding equipment
- Ensures mold changes are completed within defined timeframes
- Assists in start-up and process adjustments for established products to meet QA approval
- Maintains communication with supervisors and team members
- Promotes teamwork and efficiency within the department
- Maintains good housekeeping standards
- Adheres to all ALPLA policies, procedures, and Safety Standards (OSHA)
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Good knowledge of Blow Molding process preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to operate forklifts
