Mold Set Up TM

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with a strong commitment to management objectives and extensive knowledge of processes that support management initiatives. The ideal candidate will adapt to changes in production schedules, follow complete instructions for tool changes, and ensure processes and molds function correctly. You will confirm part quality, report abnormalities, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks including milling, turning, drilling, tapping, de-burring, molding, and all bench operations and inspections.
• Assist in color changes and troubleshoot part abnormalities.
• Complete small repairs of tools and end-of-arm tooling.
• Set up machines and support equipment such as chillers, hot runners, and loading systems.
• Conduct first, middle, and last quality inspections.
• Operate equipment and support production team members to meet production objectives.
• Develop and support standardized work processes to ensure best practices in employee training, scheduling, and customer output requirements.
• Participate in training courses to improve efficiency in production, timing, and cost control.
• Lead in the application of the 5S philosophy for TGTX and contribute to system accomplishments.
• Identify tasks, prepare appropriate responses or actions, and solve problems to meet business efficiency goals.
• Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.
