Mold Set Up Technician (Kansas Rd. Location)

About the role

Change molds as scheduled or required by breakdowns. Make necessary connections and disconnections needed for mold changes. Prepare machine plates for mold set activity and follow all set-up instructions documented in the mold book. Ensure mold carts, hose areas, and all other mold-setting areas are clean, stocked, and organized. Repair and inspect electrical, water, and pneumatic circuits as needed. Operate lifting devices and overhead cranes for installation and removal of mold tools. Document all mold change activity in the shop floor reporting system and record mold locations per activity in the mold book. Follow all safety and production-related procedures, including cGMP, HAACP, ISO, SQF, and OSHA.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required

Skills

• Demonstrated focus and adherence to safety policies
• Manufacturing experience, with mold setting strongly preferred
• Problem-solving: identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gather and analyze information skillfully
• Communication: ability to read and interpret written information and communicate effectively with team members
• Teamwork: contribute to building a positive team effort
• Judgment: exhibit sound and accurate judgment, support reasoning for decisions, and include appropriate people in decision-making
