Mold Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair molds in tool shop and production environments
• Avoid major layoffs and invest in our people
• Diagnose and complete mold repairs based on condition reports
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on molds
• Maintain and enter records (mold condition reports, spare parts, BDE system)
• Assist in training and guiding apprentices
• Handle mold components carefully during disassembly and assembly

Requirements

• Ability to work 2nd shift (2:30 PM-11 PM, Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays)
• Ability to train on 1st shift for an approximately 2 months from 6am – 2:30pm before going on 2nd shift
• Able to stand, walk, and use hands/tools
• Frequent bending, climbing, and lifting (up to 25 lbs regularly, 100 lbs occasionally)
• Good vision and manual dexterity required
