As a senior full stack developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use your passion to master new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You’ll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software programming applications using agile methods
• Develop mission critical analytics software from vision to production-ready system
• Ensure solutions consider current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using agile methods
• 3+ years of experience in software development with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or development stacks including JavaScript or TypeScript, NodeJS, React, and Python
• 3+ years of experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining
• 2+ years of experience with data analysis and analyzing structured and unstructured data sources
• Experience implementing AI, ML, or GenAI-based projects aligned to business needs
• Knowledge of microservice architectures
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or Statistics, or 8+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree
• Cybersecurity certification such as CompTIA Security+, and computing environment certification such as CompTIA Linux+ or an AWS Associate-level certification

Nice If You Have

• Experience acquiring client requirements, process improvement, performance management, and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization
• Experience leveraging DevOps pipelines to support rapid delivery of solutions
• Experience in data science with a focus on Science and Technology or programs
• Experience in the development of algorithms leveraging R, SQL, or NoSQL
• Experience manipulating or using data objects with relational or NoSQL databases
• Experience developing predictive data models, quantitative analyses, object-oriented programming, and visualization of targeted data sources
• Ability to coordinate a workstream and manage tasks
• Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
• Possession of excellent interpersonal, team, and relationship-building skills

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
