You are confident in your technical capabilities, willing to continue learning new technologies as mission needs are dynamic, and a desire to live in Colorado Springs, CO to work side-by-side with government counterparts on small agile teams to ensure our country's space assets are safe & mission effective.
Responsibilities
- Engineering and analytics support to the United States Space Force’s Orbital Test and Training Infrastructure (OTTI) division.
- Engineering decomposition of test/training requirements and scenarios into model requirements.
- Cook with the intelligence community and Federally Funded Research and Development Center for the development of threat models/data.
- Draft and coordinate model standards with the customers.
- Advise US Special Programs Office and the Intelligence community on modeling and simulation standards and development.
- Manage model status and development and report on status and limitations.
Requirements
- Strong background in Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical engineering, math and/or physics.
- Strong knowledge of programming and modeling & simulation languages and environments (Simulink, AFSIM, Python, C++, etc).
- Engineering and technical knowledge of space systems.
- Experience with US Space Force (USSF) or Department of War (DoW) mission operations (desired).
- Experience with DoW requirements and system development (desired).
Qualifications
- Current TS/SCI Clearance Required.
