Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to execute modeling and simulation.
• Perform modeling and simulation for the conceptual design of EW systems to predict system level performance at the algorithm and the hardware level.
• Determine the functional architecture / framework of EW system performance models.
• Develop performance models of EW systems to be incorporated into a modeling & simulation framework.
• Analyze against system performance requirements to verify compliance and/or make recommendations about proposed requirements changes.
• Validate work against real and simulated data – making corrections for non-ideal data artifacts.
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines and business areas to develop performance models with right-sized fidelity.
• Prepare presentations and documents.
• Brief internal stakeholders, internal subject matter experts, and potentially customers.
• Build collaborative relationships with key leaders and peers, both internally and externally, across the ECS organization.

Requirements

• Possess an Active Secret Clearance with ability to possess Top Secret with Special Access clearances.
• Experience performing systems engineering activities across the development cycle (analysis/decomposition/derivation/allocation of requirements, system modeling & simulation, system design & development, system integration & test) through production.
• Modeling and simulation experience in an embedded system.
• Experience with MATLAB and C/C++ design and programming (Windows and Linux).
• Experience with radar systems, threat radars, Electronic Warfare, or RF concepts.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across engineering disciplines.

• Pay Information: Full-Time Salary Range: $149603 - $254317

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
