Mobility Technician

Summary

Supports patient care by providing highly skilled patient mobility specific to their mobility score and goal achievement.

Responsibilities

• Assists clinical staff with patient mobility, taking vitals as appropriate for mobility needs, and documenting in the electronic medical record.
• Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, emotional, mental conditions to nursing and/or therapy staff.
• Reports on mobility and aligns care with nursing and therapy, and documents directly within Epic to support clinical team assessments.
• Manages the cleanliness and organization of mobility equipment and the unit, as appropriate in accordance with infection prevention guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum Required Education: None required.
• Required Licensure/Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. Relevant life support certification as determined at position level.
• Minimum Experience: None required.
• BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
• BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.

Pay

$18.54 - $24.10 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

Schedule

Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks).
