About the role
Axalta’s Fast Track Early Talent Program offers driven and innovative college students the opportunity to jumpstart their careers with a global leader in coatings technology. You’ll work on impactful projects, gain hands-on experience, and collaborate with industry experts in diverse roles that help shape the future of coatings.
The Mobility Operations Rotational Program is designed for recent college graduates to rotate through several departments over three years, developing a broad set of technical skills while providing solutions to projects across the organization. Rotations may require relocation and/or travel.
This specific role focuses on digitalization and automation, improving business processes and performance through data analysis and problem-solving. You’ll collaborate with teams across manufacturing plants to analyze processes, develop digital solutions, and implement tools to optimize results. Rotations may include:
- Capacity Planning: Support the development of capacity planning tools, optimize efficiency and accuracy, and use these tools to drive business decisions for new opportunities.
- Supply Chain: Enhance supply chain planning processes to optimize production schedules, reduce inventory, and improve product delivery metrics (e.g., OTIF). Build and improve demand forecasts, create supply and production plans, and manage raw materials and inventory. Participate in IBP/S&OP meetings and use data, analytics, and automation to improve planning tools and dashboards.
- Manufacturing Operations/Continuous Improvement: Partner with manufacturing departments to drive a continuous improvement mindset, improving operational efficiency, productivity, and reducing waste.
Requirements
- Graduating with a bachelor’s degree between December 2025 and June 2026 in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or another business-related degree with a clear technical interest.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions such as lookup, pivot tables, and data modeling/transformation.
- Experience building dashboards or reports in PowerBI (or similar BI tools).
- Openness to potential relocation during some or all of the rotations.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
