Mobility/MAC SME

About the role

This role serves as the escalation point for Mac Engineers and Mobility Engineers, requiring an architecting and design background. The ideal candidate will have experience with endpoint management using Intune on iPads/iPhones and Jamf Pro on MacBooks, and will be comfortable stepping into a position where they are the primary escalation contact.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage macOS, iOS, and iPadOS solutions
• Architect endpoint management strategies using Jamf Pro and Microsoft Intune
• Establish security baselines and enterprise strategy for Apple endpoints
• Create and maintain standards, documentation, and security baselines
• Integrate with Entra ID, SSO, Conditional Access, and PKI
• Drive automation through Bash, Zsh, PowerShell, Python, and APIs
• Serve as the technical escalation point for the Mac and Mobility engineering teams

Requirements

• Expert-level experience with Jamf Pro and Microsoft Intune
• Expertise with Apple Business Manager
• Strong Apple security background covering encryption, compliance, certificates, authentication, and policies
• Heavy automation focus across multiple scripting languages (Bash, Zsh, PowerShell, Python) and APIs
• Experience with federal security frameworks (NIST, CIS, STIG) preferred
• Experience integrating with Entra ID, SSO, Conditional Access, and PKI
• US Citizenship required
• Must be processed for EOD Public Trust (2-6 week process with extensive background and credit check); can hold up to TS SCI clearance

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 10 years of experience, OR
• Bachelor's degree with 12 years of experience, OR
• Associate's degree with 14 years of experience, OR
• No degree with 18 years of experience

Pay

Conversion salary of $135k, with some flexibility for exceptional candidates.

Schedule

100% remote; candidates can be located anywhere in the US.
