Job Summary
Diagnose and repair Peterbilt trucks and related equipment in both shop and customer locations. Perform high-quality repairs on semi-trucks, primarily smaller service and repair work, following dealership and factory standards. Work independently while collaborating with service advisors, supervisors, and customers. Maintain a strong focus on safety, compliance (EPA, OSHA, DOT), and a clean, organized work environment.

Minimum Skills And Qualifications
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, as is a vocational diploma or degree in diesel or truck repair.
- Perform smaller mechanical repairs on semi-trucks in customer shops and field environments.
- Must provide own Tools.
- Experience: Four to six years of related experience or training or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Licenses: A CDL license is recommended; earns additional hourly pay, a valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
- Certifications: Preferred certifications include MX Engine, Cummins Heavy Duty, Cummins Mid-Range, Allison Transmission, or Eaton Transmission.
Physical Requirements
- Manual Dexterity: Regular use of hands to handle, feel, and reach.
- Mobility: Frequently required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch; occasionally required to sit.
- Strength: Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 50 pounds.
- Vision: Specific vision abilities include color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
