What You’ll Do
- Perform critical inspections, maintenance, and repairs on Ready Mix Trucks, End Dump Trucks, Tractors, Trailers, and Heavy Construction Equipment.
- Diagnose complex mechanical issues, analyze malfunctions, and deliver effective solutions to ensure maximum equipment reliability and performance.
- Dismantle, rebuild, and maintain a wide range of equipment using advanced tools and techniques.
- Conduct parts examinations for wear and damage, utilizing precision instruments like micrometers and gauges.
- Replace and overhaul major components: engines, transmissions, motors, hydraulic systems, and beyond.
- Test, operate, and fine-tune equipment to guarantee optimal efficiency and safety.
- Demonstrate welding expertise by restoring structural and mechanical components.
- Lead and mentor team members during cleaning, assembly, and disassembly operations.
- Document your work with accurate time and parts records—your attention to detail keeps us compliant and efficient.
- Take initiative by suggesting improvements, redesigns, or alternative solutions to technical challenges.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment to the highest standards.
- Collaborate with fellow maintenance staff to ensure the fleet is always ready for action.
- Document your work with accurate time and parts records—your attention to detail keeps us compliant and efficient.

Requirements for Success
- 18 years or older with the ability to pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
- DOT medical card (if applicable) and compliance with all OSHA/MSHA safety procedures.
- Team player mentality: ready to collaborate, assist, and deliver results for the group.
- Willingness to travel, work nights or weekends as needed—flexibility is key for our industry.
- Commitment to personal and team safety, including correct PPE use in all relevant environments.
- Adherence to all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations as outlined by the US DOT.
Your Skills & Strengths
- Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities—resourceful, analytical, and independent.
- Solid understanding of workplace hazards and safety best practices.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and basic math; able to maintain precise records.
- Effective communicator—clear, professional, and collaborative in all interactions.
- Aptitude for using modern technology, including research and repair resources on the internet.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Frequently required to climb, balance, and perform tasks involving physical agility.
- Regularly sit, climb, and use hand signals or equipment; occasionally stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, or reach above shoulder height.
- Lift and move objects weighing up to 25-50 lbs as needed.
- Work primarily outdoors, often in extreme weather and environmental conditions.
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions; exposed to jobsite hazards such as moving machinery, high places, airborne particles, and loud environments.
- Must have specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, to operate equipment safely.
