Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Install and inspect tires on tractors and trailers using Company guidelines
- Observe all Company safety requirements
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Organize and maintain tire inventory for trucks
- Ensure compliance of safety policies including all safety and OSHA requirements while at a customer facility or rail yard
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends if needed
- Must possess a valid drivers license and ability to pass J.B. Hunt standards for operation of a company vehicle
- Basic tools are required to successfully perform this role. These tools must be supplied by the employee in most locations.
- Employees without their own tools may obtain them through toolbox purchase program
- Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 6 to 12 months in tire related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must possess a valid drivers license and ability to pass J.B. Hunt standards for operation of a company vehicle
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team (no direct supervision)
