Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and inspect tires on tractors and trailers using Company guidelines
  • Observe all Company safety requirements
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Organize and maintain tire inventory for trucks
  • Ensure compliance of safety policies including all safety and OSHA requirements while at a customer facility or rail yard

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends if needed
  • Must possess a valid drivers license and ability to pass J.B. Hunt standards for operation of a company vehicle
  • Basic tools are required to successfully perform this role. These tools must be supplied by the employee in most locations.
  • Employees without their own tools may obtain them through toolbox purchase program
  • Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 6 to 12 months in tire related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must possess a valid drivers license and ability to pass J.B. Hunt standards for operation of a company vehicle
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team (no direct supervision)
