Mobile Testing Technician

Responsibilities

• Inspect and clean mechanical hoists, ground sets, mechanical jumpers, rubber coverups, and hot sticks
• Build custom mechanical jumpers and ground sets
• Perform high-voltage dielectric testing
• Perform annual and DOT inspections of Bucket Trucks
• Perform dielectric oil testing
• Maintain accurate testing data
• Follow all employer health/safety rules and operating procedures
• Properly maintain housekeeping standards

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Background in repairing hydraulic systems or tools (preferred)
• Background in repairing mechanical, battery, electric, and gas-powered tools
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
• Clean MVR required
• The ability to travel 70% of the time
• Strong communication skills
• Able to work in a team environment
• Able to work different shifts (days/evenings) and some weekends
• Two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
