Mobile Testing Technician

Responsibilities
- Inspect and clean mechanical hoists, ground sets, mechanical jumpers, rubber coverups, and hot sticks
- Build custom mechanical jumpers and ground sets
- Perform high-voltage dielectric testing
- Perform annual and DOT inspections of Bucket Trucks
- Perform dielectric oil testing
- Maintain accurate testing data
- Follow all employer health/safety rules and operating procedures
- Properly maintain housekeeping standards
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Background in repairing hydraulic systems or tools (preferred)
- Background in repairing mechanical, battery, electric, and gas-powered tools
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
- Clean MVR required
- The ability to travel 70% of the time
- Strong communication skills
- Able to work in a team environment
- Able to work different shifts (days/evenings) and some weekends
- Two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
