Mobile Technician - Jackson

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform visual inspections
• Remove parts and attachments
• Perform warranty repairs
• Execute preventative maintenance services
• Repair lights and wiring
• Weld, cut, and perform other repairs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Three years of diesel truck service and computer diagnostics experience
• Mechanical aptitude and technical ability
• Ability to operate power and hand tools and other equipment safely
• Read and comprehend instructions and information
• Valid driver's license with a driving record meeting our criteria
• Obtain and maintain a DOT Driver Medical certification

Qualifications

• Dress professionally
• Communicate well orally and in writing with customers, vendors, and other contacts

Skills

• Smartphone capability to download, install, and operate company-issued mobile applications

Pay

• 40 hour a week position with eligibility for overtime

Schedule

• Physically demanding position requiring standing for 6-8 hours per shift
• Requires stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, and feeling
• Lifts parts weighing up to 70 pounds several times during each shift
• Uses hand and power tools
• Exposes to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials
