About the role
Crystal Lake Elementary District 47 currently has an opening for the Mobile Technician position.
Responsibilities
- Provides on-going support for staff and students with specialization on mobile devices such as Chromebooks, iPads, PCs, and other wireless devices.
- Supports teachers and students with functionality of technology devices in the classroom.
- Provide first level of support and troubleshoot PCs, printers, projectors and other forms of technology.
- Repair or coordinate repairs on Chromebooks, iPads, PCs, and other mobile devices.
- Provide assistance to teachers and students where it relates with use of technology.
- Maintain technology inventory for the building(s) assigned.
- Install or update apps / software as directed.
- Be proactive, communicate and escalate issues to the next level of support.
- Aid in maintaining a high level of security on the district network.
Requirements
- Education: At least 30 semester hours college credit preferred.
- Knowledge of Windows, Chrome OS, iOS, Google Apps, and Microsoft Office.
- Detail-oriented.
- Experience with troubleshooting technical issues.
- Positive interpersonal communication ability and self-motivation.
Pay
Hourly Rate: $18.76, experience considered.
