Mobile Technician

About the role

DriveWhip is a mobility provider in the Washington, DC area with offices in multiple cities, including Miami, FL, that leases/rents vehicles to Uber, Lyft and other on-demand or rideshare drivers. As a ground floor member of an exciting new company, all associates will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities. An appreciation for the pros and cons of start-up culture is a must. The goal is to deliver superior customer service, respect, expertise and responsiveness to our customers. As stewards of the company, you will be responsible for awarding every customer with a positive rental experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance issues to keep the fleet running smoothly.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake jobs.
• Work with the team to keep vehicles in top shape and ready to roll.
• Use modern diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems and keep repairs efficient.
• Collaborate with the service and operations team to ensure fast, reliable vehicle turnaround.

Requirements

• Mechanic with hands-on experience in auto repairs and diagnostics.
• B-Level or higher ASE certification.
• Knowledge of engines, brakes, electrical systems, and more.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Own tools.
• Good knowledge and background in Tesla diagnoses and repairs.

Pay

$25 – $35 per hour, depending on experience.
