About the role

Atlas Copco is seeking a TMC Mobile Technician to support Tool Management Centers (TMC) at various customer locations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting TMC activities such as setup, diagnosis, and configuration of tooling
  • Maintaining preventative maintenance and calibration schedules for tooling
  • Managing logistics for shipping tools between customer facilities
  • Collaborating with onsite employees and customers
  • Providing training to team members and fostering a positive TMC environment

Responsibilities

As a TMC Mobile Technician, you will:

  • Travel up to 60% locally and 40% nationally to support TMC operations
  • Work flexible hours to meet regional and business needs
  • Coordinate tooling setup, diagnosis, and configuration
  • Maintain preventative maintenance and calibration schedules
  • Manage logistics for tool shipments
  • Communicate effectively with onsite employees and customers
  • Provide training and support to team members

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Ability to travel up to 60% locally and 40% nationally
  • Experience in a production environment, preferably with manufacturing automation, assembly tooling, or data collection systems
  • Interest and passion in industrial tooling and continuous learning
  • Efficient computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and networking/database experience
  • At least 2-3 years of experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
  • Customer service experience and ability to communicate across organizational levels
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A valid U.S. driver's license
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must:

  • Reside in MI or GA
  • Have 2 years of experience in a production environment
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Have a valid U.S. driver's license
