Responsibilities
- Deploy assigned enforcement unit to assigned deployment sites; may require local travel within the jurisdiction or travel within the state for drivers assigned within AWZSE program.
- Ensure deployment at required locations in the most efficient manner to achieve maximum deployment in all assigned jurisdictions.
- Set up and take down enforcement system and supporting equipment.
- Monitor weather and lighting conditions and make camera adjustments as necessary.
- Communicate with Network Operations Center/Verra Command Center (NOC/VCC), supervisor, team leads, and other operators to relay accurate and timely information impacting operations.
- Maintain professional conduct and demeanor at all times while traveling, deployed, or representing the company.
- Complete court deployment forms accurately with required deployment data.
- Log and report equipment-related issues promptly to ensure quick resolution.
- Process red-light and speed events using web-based tools.
- Open, scan, and process inbound customer correspondence.
- Perform clerical and administrative duties, including data entry and quality control.
- Operate keyboard or other data entry devices to input, edit, or proof-read data in the database.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work day or night shifts, including weekends, depending on assignment.
- Basic understanding of laptop/computer usage.
- Solid data entry experience and ability with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of cameras and photography.
- Ability to self-motivate and work both as a team member and individually.
- Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment.
- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Successful completion of Nlets fingerprinting background assessment.
Inherent Physical Requirements
These physical demands are representative of what a MSCO driver may encounter in the field and are essential functions of the position:
- Primarily field work on outside construction/service sites involving long-term standing and repetitive motions.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
- Ability to use hands to handle, finger, or feel; reach, climb, or balance; crouch, stoop, crawl, kneel, and sit.
- Frequent ladder use, including climbing, descending, balancing, and working safely at heights on ladders and aerial lifts for extended periods.
- Good driving record and ability to see, including close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to focus.
- May be required to drive hundreds of miles per day without limitations that reduce the ability to drive safely.
- Physical strength and ability to perform moderate lifting, moving, and carrying (e.g., regularly lift up to 50 pounds, maneuver up to 50 pounds onto a vehicle or its roof, and carry up to 50 pounds for approximately 100 feet).
- Capable of safely attaching, detaching, towing, and deploying a trailer-mounted unit.
- Able to enter and exit vehicles multiple times within a shift.
- Required to wear protective equipment in the field, including reflective gear, work boots, hard hats, and safety glasses.
