Mobile Service Technician

About the role

As a Mobile Service Technician, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a variety of vehicles in the field. Whether it’s scheduled maintenance or unexpected breakdowns, you’ll be the face of Anderson Ford, bringing expertise and reliability directly to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on passenger and light-duty vehicles
• Conduct oil changes, brake repairs, battery replacements, inspections, and more
• Use diagnostic tools and onboard technology to assess and resolve issues
• Keep detailed service records and communicate findings to clients
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and professionalism on every job site

Qualifications

• Previous experience at an automotive dealership a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ford certification a plus
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand and excellent hand-eye coordination
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic computer competencies
• Positive, friendly attitude, with a customer service mentality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with ability to collaborate effectively
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications
• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check
