Mobile Service Technician

About the role

Join our growing team as a Mobile Service Technician. You’ll travel in a Mobile Service van to customer workplaces and homes, handling basic service needs and recalls. Be part of the Ford family, where we value service to each other and the world as much as to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty and put the customer first.
• Engage with many different customers each day, representing the dealership calmly and responsively.
• Organize and prepare for the day’s appointments with excellent time management.
• Perform vehicle repairs and/or maintenance work as outlined on the repair order in a clean and efficient manner.
• Communicate regularly with the Mobile Service Coordinator, Parts Department, and Dealer Management to manage production and customer communication.
• Accurately document vehicle repairs/work performed on the repair order.
• Stay informed of Ford technical bulletins and complete required training.
• Work occasionally in challenging weather conditions.
• Drive and maintain a company vehicle responsibly.
• Bring a start-up mentality to growing the business.

Qualifications

• B-level or higher technician qualifications preferred.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Requires little or no guidance on jobs.
• Valid driver’s license.
• ASE/Manufacturer certifications (Ford certifications desirable but not mandatory).
• Service Technician experience preferred.
• Strong use of technological devices including tablets.
• Able to perform physical tasks and lift up to 100 pounds.
