Mobile Service Technician

About the role

Best Ford of Nashua is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Mobile Service Technician to support their expanding Mobile Service Program. This role involves providing on-site maintenance and light repair services to customers at their home, workplace, or place of business, delivering dealership-quality service with unmatched convenience.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations in a fully equipped Best Ford mobile service van
• Perform light-duty maintenance and repair services including oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, filter and bulb replacements, fluid top-offs, and basic diagnostics
• Perform multi-point inspections and thoroughly document findings
• Communicate directly with customers to explain services performed, answer questions, and provide updates
• Maintain accurate service records and invoices using mobile service software
• Keep the mobile van stocked, clean, and service-ready for each day’s schedule
• Represent Best Ford with professionalism and courtesy at every service stop
• Follow all manufacturer repair guidelines and safety procedures

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in automotive maintenance or repair
• A high school diploma or equivalent required; ASE certifications preferred
• Ford experience and factory certifications are a plus
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable working independently and managing a daily field schedule
• Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in all aspects of the role
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
