Mobile Service Technician

Eide Chrysler St Cloud is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mobile Service Technician to join our team in St. Cloud, Minnesota. This role focuses on simple recalls and minor maintenance repairs—"The Gravy Work"—offering a unique and less stressful alternative to traditional shop work.

About the role

This full-time position provides a competitive base salary plus commission. You’ll perform vehicle repairs and maintenance both in our shop and at remote locations. Tools and a vehicle are provided, making this an excellent opportunity for technicians seeking an exciting career change.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance services at the dealership and remote locations
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with various makes and models of vehicles
• Inform customers of vehicle issues and recommended repairs in a clear and professional manner
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a high level of satisfaction
• Communicate effectively with team members and managers to ensure timely completion of repairs
• Meet productivity and efficiency goals set by the dealership
• Accurately complete repair orders and documentation
• Ensure all safety and quality standards are met

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
