Mobile Service Technician

About the role

Beach Ford is seeking a motivated Mobile Service Technician to perform light-duty automotive services from a fully equipped Mobile Service Van. The technician provides convenient, on-site service to customers at their homes, workplaces, or other designated locations. This is an outdoor position requiring work in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain depending on the season. The role demands the ability to work independently while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and battery replacements
• Complete select Ford recall repairs
• Operate and maintain a fully equipped Mobile Service Van
• Provide on-site service at customer locations (homes, workplaces, designated sites)
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain professional standards
• Work independently while managing time effectively

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of automotive technician experience
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required)
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and commitment to high-quality service
• Ford and/or ASE certifications preferred but not required

Schedule

• Monday through Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Every fourth Saturday required
• Closed on Sundays
