Job Summary

We are seeking a Collection Specialist Driver to join our Donor Services Phlebotomy team. This Full Time/30+ position works 30-39 hours per week and includes varied hours such as days, evenings, and weekends.

About the Role

As a Collection Specialist Driver, you will conduct donor registrations, screenings, physicals, and phlebotomy, as well as provide donor care during the donation process. You will also drive large blood center vehicles to transport blood drive supplies and perform set-up and tear-down tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct donor registrations, screenings, physicals, and phlebotomy
  • Provide donor care during the donation process
  • Drive large blood center vehicles to transport blood drive supplies
  • Perform set-up and tear-down tasks for the collection operation
  • Restock supplies
  • Work varied hours including days, evenings, and weekends
  • Train away from home for up to two weeks at a time
  • Drive larger vehicles (i.e. box-trucks, truck and trailer combos)
  • Drive in various weather conditions

Requirements

  • Customer service experience
  • Enjoy working with the public
  • A good, stable work history
  • Understand the importance of following standard operating procedures
  • Be able to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, and weekends
  • Be comfortable driving larger vehicles (i.e. box-trucks, truck and trailer combos)
  • Be comfortable driving in various weather conditions
  • Possess a valid driver's license in the state in which you reside and be insurable by our insurance carrier
  • Have REAL ID
  • Hold or be able to obtain a DOT Medical Certification Physical card

Qualifications

  • Pre-employment background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report are required
