Mobile Phlebotomist DOT Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a Collection Specialist Driver to join our Donor Services Phlebotomy team. This Full Time/30+ position works 30-39 hours per week, with varied schedules including days, evenings, and weekends.

About the Role

As a Collection Specialist Driver, you will conduct donor registrations, screenings, physicals, and phlebotomy, as well as provide donor care during the donation process. You will also drive large blood center vehicles to transport blood drive supplies and perform set-up and tear-down tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct donor registrations, screenings, physicals, and phlebotomy
• Provide donor care during the donation process
• Drive large blood center vehicles to transport blood drive supplies
• Perform set-up and tear-down tasks for the collection operation
• Restock supplies
• Work varied hours including days, evenings, and weekends
• Train away from home for up to two weeks at a time
• Drive larger vehicles such as box-trucks and truck and trailer combos
• Drive in various weather conditions

Requirements

• Customer service experience
• Experience working with the public
• A good, stable work history
• Understanding of standard operating procedures
• The ability to work varied schedules including days, evenings, and weekends
• The ability to train away from home for up to two weeks at a time
• The ability to drive larger vehicles (i.e. box-trucks, truck and trailer combos)
• The ability to drive in various weather conditions
• A valid driver's license in the state in which you reside and insurability by our insurance carrier
• A REAL ID
• A DOT Medical Certification Physical card
