Mobile Phlebotomist - Beaumont, TX (Temporary, Full-Time)

About the role

This is a temporary, full-time position for nurses, phlebotomists, or medical assistants. As a Sprinter, you'll provide a diverse array of preventative care and diagnostic services to patients in the comfort of their homes. Training will be offered for services such as capturing diabetic retina images, performing ECGs, and recording using digital stethoscopes.

A day in the life

• Ensure you have all proper supplies and PPE for the day’s patients.
• Use modern technology to access your schedule and navigate to each patient’s home.
• Build warm, welcoming connections with a diverse range of patients.
• Perform patient-centric, diagnostic, and low-acuity care, including phlebotomy, specimen collection, diabetic foot screenings, retina exams, ECGs, and more.
• Ensure samples are labeled properly and coordinate drop-off to the appropriate lab or shipment facility.

• Use mobile devices for charting and HIPAA-secure messaging apps for care coordination.

• Use reliable transportation to travel to patient homes.
• Physically access and navigate patient homes, including climbing stairs and carrying up to 20 pounds.

Requirements

• State-required licensure and/or proof of training.
• National certification for applicants in states without state-level licensure requirements.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Proof of completion of course/program or certification based on licensure level.
• Valid Driver’s License and current vehicle insurance.
• Pass national background check and DMV check.
• Proof of vaccination or immunity for:
  • Measles/Mumps/Rubella (MMR)
  • Hepatitis B series
  • Varicella
  • TB test (within the past year)
  • Influenza (annual or signed exemption)
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis (TDaP - within past 10 years)
• Previous experience in venipuncture.
