Mobile Mammography Driver - Part-Time - 3076

Position Overview

We are seeking a Medical Imaging Assistant to join our growing Mammography team. Unlike typical travel roles, this position offers a unique opportunity to work on a state-of-the-art mobile scanner while serving local and diverse communities. This role provides flexibility of different environments while being a part of a stable, full-time, employee-centric organization. You’ll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with various healthcare facilities and become a key member of our Shared Medical Services ONETEAM.

Responsibilities

• Auxiliary in patient-care capacity by escorting patients from the medical facility to the mobile unit, ensuring excellent patient care, comfort, safety, and confidentiality (we will train you!)
• Safely relocate the equivalent to 26’ straight truck to medical facilities along a dedicated route in accordance with DOT rules and regulations
• Conduct set-up and tear down of the trailer at each location
• Perform some administrative tasks, including time/activity reports, billing, drivers’ logs, and any applicable maintenance, mileage, or inspection forms

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to drive or experience driving equivalent to 26’ straight truck. SMS is willing to train
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
• Must possess valid Drivers’ License. CDL NOT REQUIRED
• Must have acceptable driving record
• Successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check, urine drug screen and DOT physical
