Mobile Maintenance Technician

About the role

Boss Truck Shops is seeking Mobile Maintenance Technicians for their growing team. Ideal candidates are either starting their career as a Diesel Technician or have experience in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Performs PM inspection
• Greases trucks and trailers
• Conducts tire services
• Conducts electrical, brake, wheel end/seal evaluations and repairs
• Completes trailer body work including panel replacement, rail repairs, and roof sections
• Performs CSA/DOT inspections
• Sells tires and parts
• Completes work orders
• Ensures customer satisfaction
• Adheres to safety policies and procedures
• Attends and completes training programs
• Provides customer service
• Reports for work on time

Requirements

• At least two (2) years of diesel tech experience
• Tire Service Certified by TIA
• DOT Medical Card
• Completion of Boss Truck Shops Tech I and II training program
• OSHA Skills Demonstration
• Ability to attend and complete additional training
• Valid driver’s license and insurable to drive
• Skilled in welding
• Able to work weekends, holidays, and nights
• Able to communicate in English

Pay & Schedule

Pay range: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour, DEQ plus $8.00/billed hour commission.
