Mobile Maintenance Service Manager
Job Overview
The role of the Service Manager at Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is responsible for overseeing the Service Department's daily operations to meet growth and profit objectives. Key responsibilities include formulating objectives, managing staff, assessing customer needs, and coordinating warranty claims.
Essential Functions
- Plans, directs, and controls the Service Department to achieve growth and profit goals.
- Evaluates department performance against set objectives and takes corrective actions as needed.
- Maintains high standards of professionalism in customer service and problem-solving.
- Works with the Parts Manager and outside sales team to enhance service department performance.
- Maintains open communication among all departments within the branch.
- Promotes safe work practices and ensures adherence to safety rules.
- Develops and implements policies to foster positive employee and customer relations.
- Keeps the Branch Manager informed about departmental activities, market conditions, and competition.
- Coordinates warranty claim processing and administers adjustments fairly and honestly.
About the Role
The Service Manager role requires a minimum of four years' experience in a related field, excellent leadership and communication skills, and previous supervisory experience. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to work overtime are also essential. Qualifications
- CDL preferred.
- Minimum of four years' experience in related field.
