Mobile HVAC Technician

Our client, an industry leader in commercial property management and maintenance, is seeking a dedicated Mobile HVAC Technician to join their team in the Fort Lauderdale area.

About the role

As part of the Facilities Maintenance Department, you will support multiple client sites across the Fort Lauderdale area. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude.

• Perform comprehensive preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services on commercial HVAC systems, including packaged units, air handlers, chillers, and related equipment
• Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot electrical distribution, plumbing, building automation controls, and fire/life safety systems
• Execute work orders efficiently using CMMS technology with minimal supervision
• Conduct facility inspections and assessments, reporting conditions affecting client operations
• Travel to multiple client locations within the assigned territory, managing priorities independently

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; technical training or trade school degree preferred
• Minimum of 4 years of technical experience in commercial building engineering, with a focus on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Universal EPA/CFC certification (required)
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in various environmental conditions

$30 to $35 per hour
