Mobile HVAC/R + Building Maintenance - Hybrid Tech.

About the role

As a CBRE HVAC/R Hybrid Mobile Technician, you will maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC/Refrigeration systems as well as general building maintenance to include light electrical, plumbing, and basic carpentry at multiple locations and various types of buildings. This is a mobile role, servicing any of our 70+ contracted clients in your area.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, approximately 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with no mandatory on-call or overtime.

Responsibilities

• Impact a range of customer, operation, project, or service activities within your team and other related teams.
• Conduct inspections and ongoing maintenance on building HVAC/R equipment, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Solve equipment failures, determine the best course of action for equipment modifications, and apply your expertise to maintain, operate, and repair HVAC/Refrigeration systems and associated equipment, including electrical distribution, plumbing systems, and light carpentry while completing maintenance and repair records.
• Operate company-issued vehicles in the execution of daily work responsibilities.
• Share in-depth knowledge of HVAC/Refrigeration systems and broad knowledge of several job subject areas within the function of facilities maintenance.
• Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE’s culture.
• Explain technical information to others in a straightforward, professional manner, ensuring team members and clients understand technical details and solutions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Universal CFC certification and valid Driver’s license required.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
