Mobile Fleet Technician/Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on light to medium duty fleet vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
• Accurately document repairs and complete work orders
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including your tools and equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support fleet operations

Requirements

• 5+ years’ of hands-on experience performing diesel and automotive vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role
• Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including drug screen and DOT physical (if required)

• Physical demands: frequent movement such as standing, walking, climbing, bending, and sitting for extended periods, as well as lifting heavy objects and accessing tight or confined spaces
• Weather conditions: regular use of hands to grasp, reach, handle, and operate tools and equipment, and work at heights using ladders or elevated platforms
• Visual and auditory requirements: ability to see and hear sufficiently to safely navigate the workspace

Pay & Schedule

• Pay $38.00 - $44.00/hour (based on experience)
• Pay Frequency: Weekly pay - every Friday
• Schedule: Tuesday - Friday 10:00am - 9:30pm | Saturday 8:00am - 4:30pm

Working Conditions

• Working in a mobile, outside and/or shop environment with exposure to dust, diesel fumes, noise, and mechanical materials such as oils and greases
• Frequent movement such as standing, walking, climbing, bending, and sitting for extended periods
• Lifting heavy objects
• Accessing tight or confined spaces
• Regular use of hands to grasp, reach, handle, and operate tools and equipment
• Work at heights using ladders or elevated platforms
• Safe navigation of the workspace in various weather conditions
