Responsibilities
Travel to customer or dealer locations, process work orders for customer repairs, and service/repair equipment
Order service parts and file warranty claims
Ensure safe use of equipment & tools
Complete warranty paperwork in a timely manner
Accurately document work performed daily
Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle
Complete special order parts for all work orders
Perform service work safely and promptly
Use computer systems to identify parts and troubleshoot systems
Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and drawings
Provide a safe environment by keeping work areas clean & organized
Communicate effectively with customers (in-person and via electronic devices)
Lift, push, and/or pull up to 65 pounds repetitively
Operate machinery and equipment such as gantry cranes, electric hoists, servicing and diagnostic equipment, service trucks, and multimeters
Participate in the equipment sales process if needed
Handle multiple priorities, organize workloads, and meet deadlines
Perform general office equipment use with repetitive wrist movements on keyboard
Operate service truck/travel long distances
May be required to cross train and perform other duties
Qualifications
Expert mechanical abilities in small engine, diesel, and hydraulic systems, including professional experience servicing sub-compact and compact utility tractors at a tractor dealership
Valid driver’s license
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
Ability to access and use the in-store computer, scanning system, and wireless handheld unit
Ability to participate in our online applicant and new hire onboarding process remotely
Ability to complete computer-based training
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00 per hour, with exact compensation determined by factors such as relevant geographic location, education, certifications, experience, job level, shift, and organizational needs. Eligible associates may also receive overtime pay in compliance with applicable laws.
