About the role
The role builds and ships mobile experiences for iOS and Android, including user-facing workflows, offline-capable features, authentication, payments, and real-time interactions. Engineers contribute across the mobile stack, from native UI and state management to API integration, release automation, and production diagnostics. You will work with product, design, backend, and platform engineers to turn product requirements into fast, reliable applications used at scale. The team values thoughtful architecture, measurable performance, and pragmatic decisions that improve both customer experience and development velocity.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain production mobile applications for iOS and Android using Swift, Kotlin, SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose, or a cross-platform framework such as React Native or Flutter
- Design mobile architecture, state management, networking, caching, and offline behavior for reliable experiences across varied devices and network conditions
- Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs, authentication flows, push notifications, analytics, feature flags, and third-party SDKs
- Improve application performance by profiling startup time, rendering, memory usage, battery consumption, and network activity
- Create automated unit, integration, and UI tests using XCTest, XCUITest, Espresso, or equivalent tooling
- Own mobile delivery through CI/CD pipelines, code signing, staged rollouts, crash monitoring, and App Store and Google Play releases
- Collaborate in code reviews and technical design discussions while documenting decisions and improving shared mobile engineering standards
Requirements
- 3–8 years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 2 years building and maintaining production iOS, Android, or cross-platform mobile applications
- Strong proficiency in Swift or Kotlin, with practical experience in native mobile SDKs, lifecycle management, concurrency, and platform-specific UI patterns
- Experience with SwiftUI, UIKit, Jetpack Compose, Android Views, React Native, Flutter, or comparable mobile development frameworks
- Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns, API integration, local persistence, secure storage, authentication, and application observability
- Hands-on experience with automated testing, Git-based development workflows, CI/CD, release management, and debugging production issues
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience

- Experience with both iOS and Android
- Kotlin Multiplatform
- React Native or Flutter
- Mobile payments
