Mobile Engineer - Industrial

Major Areas of Responsibilities

• Perform assigned facility inspections, reporting on as found conditions.
• Cleanliness: Areas in need of painting, fence repairs, site lighting, landscaping defects, parking lot condition, condition of signage, general building or site defects.
• Vacancies: Inspect and maintain vacancies, remove trash and cobwebs, pressure wash entry sidewalk, replace ceiling tiles as needed, clean restrooms, stock supplies, vacuum carpets, mop tile/vct flooring, ensure HVAC is set to proper temperatures, clean windows, maintain vacancy standard/expectations, collect and dispose of trash.
• Tenant/Client Service Requests: Responding to plumbing, electrical, environmental, safety, lighting, and other related issues.
• Work Orders: Monitor and update work orders in Building Engines - Prism online work order system.
• Fire/Life Safety Systems: Check Fire/Life Safety systems and surrounding areas for cleanliness, condition, and code compliance, operate emergency generator, fire alarm monitoring panel, and sewage ejector/pump if applicable.
• Special Tasks: Painting, locksmith work, tenant services requests, and general maintenance as assigned.
• Emergency Response: Respond effectively to all emergencies both during and after working hours.
• Safety: Comply with all safety procedures, maintain good housekeeping, recognize dangerous and safety hazards, propose methods to eliminate them, comply with State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws, store, use, and dispose of hazardous materials safely, participate in training programs, document work performance and materials procurement.

Requirements

• Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Fire Life Safety experience helpful (fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems).
• Completion of an applicable technical training program desirable.
• Minimum of one (3) years of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical.
• Basic computer skills, ability to use a laptop and iPad as directed by manager.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., use ladders up to 30 ft, possess mechanical and electrical aptitude, excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.
• Skills to work with basic hand tools required to perform assigned work scope.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Compliance with Jones Lang LaSalle and client-directed Policies & Procedures.
• Background and MVR check.
