Mobile Engineer

About the role

CBRE is seeking Building Engineers to support facilities in the Pittsburg, PA area. The role involves overseeing maintenance and repairs, reviewing work orders, implementing preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems.
• Review assigned work orders, estimate time and materials needed, and maintain inventory of supplies and tools.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs and oversee repairs and emergency maintenance.
• Review inspections of building and industrial systems, including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and company directives.
• Operate company-issued vehicles and apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques.
• Coach others and share knowledge of job disciplines.
• Lead by example and model CBRE RISE values.
• Work collaboratively across various teams and explain difficult or sensitive information.

Requirements

• Currently authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of four (4) years proven experience as a building engineer.
• Universal EPA license required.
• Mobile maintenance experience highly preferred.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Certification in two or more of the following: Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC and Refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair.
• Certification in CFC.

Skills

• Commercial and Industrial maintenance.
• Mechanical (overhead doors), Electrical (3-phase, lighting/ballast), and Plumbing.
• Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) and OSHA 10.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office & CMMS).
