Mobile Engineer

What this job involves

The Mobile Engineer supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes to mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems.

What your day-to-day will look like

• Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds as it pertains to assigned buildings.
• Perform maintenance and repairs to the Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, and for the facility to keep these systems up to applicable standards.
• Performs predictive, planned, preventative and routine maintenance.
• Determines and/or assists with analyzing and resolving work problems and achieving work goals.
• Maintains time and production records and customer service requests utilizing a variety of computer/technology tools.
• Team player with the desire to foster teamwork to help create a positive working environment.

Required Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent; a combination of four years of experience as a licensed HVAC journeyman or completing a formal program providing equivalent experience.
• EPA 608 certification.
• Trades schooling in electrical system design, refrigeration and HVAC preferred.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant work experience; industry general building preventative & corrective maintenance.
• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
• Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) &/or Building Management System (BMS).
• Strong Customer Service & Interpersonal skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams).
• Strong Troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills are required.
