Mobile Diesel Mechanic Full Time

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Diagnoses mechanical problems; able to handle regular maintenance, light and heavy repairs for Trucks.
• To include repairs brakes, transmissions, rear-ends, clutches, hydraulic systems, valves, pumps and electrical problems and engine repairs.
• Performs repairs and or scheduled maintenance as needed as a mobile Technician at our customers location.
• Ideal certification to perform State Inspections and CDL.
• Able to work independently. Can diagnose and repair on the roadside and or not at our dealership.
• Prepares work orders for repairs and works closely with our Parts department to insure an efficient repair.
• Promotes cooperation and teamwork.
• Willing to train and maintain certifications necessary as ongoing technician training and development.
• Able to embrace our Elite Support & Safety Culture.

Qualifications

Experience as a diesel truck mechanic.

Certifications are a plus and can earn you an increase in wages.

Experience with Freightliner, Mack, Sterling, Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel, and/or Cummins is ideal but not required.

Completion of a Diesel technician school and certification is desired.
