About the role
Kimble Recycling and Disposal, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Road Call Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel mechanics, be able to diagnose and solve problems independently, and mentor other technicians.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair various vehicle issues, including but not limited to engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Maintain and service vehicles to ensure they are safe and efficient.
- Lead service calls and provide technical guidance to other mechanics.
- Mentor and train new technicians.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues.
- Keep up-to-date with industry standards and best practices.
Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record, CDL preferred.
- Proven experience in diesel mechanics.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Clean driving record.
