About the role
The Mobile Crisis Specialist is responsible for providing immediate support to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis in their community.
Responsibilities
- Provide crisis intervention and support services to individuals in crisis
- Assess and document client needs and progress
- Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Ensure safety and security of clients during crisis situations
- Document all interactions and interventions in accordance with agency policies and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience working with individuals in crisis settings
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Passing score on a background check and criminal history review
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
- Proficient in using crisis intervention techniques
