Mobile Crisis Specialist

About the role

The Mobile Crisis Specialist is responsible for providing immediate support to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis in their community.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention and support services to individuals in crisis
• Assess and document client needs and progress
• Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
• Ensure safety and security of clients during crisis situations
• Document all interactions and interventions in accordance with agency policies and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
• At least 2 years of experience working with individuals in crisis settings
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Passing score on a background check and criminal history review

Qualifications

• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
• Proficient in using crisis intervention techniques
