About the role
The Mobile Crisis Team, Shift Supervisor position involves responding to mental health crises, providing clinical and operational supervision, and managing the team's activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and operational direction to the team.
- Evaluate program services and conduct planning and coordination.
- Answer and respond to calls from the Delaware County Crisis Connections Team hotline.
- Dispatch mobile crisis teams to assist the community with mental health support.
- Oversee program logistics such as vehicle maintenance and resource allocation.
- Supervise, direct, and evaluate team members to ensure service quality.
- Implement staff orientation and training, manage intern training, and ensure EHR compliance.
- Initiate billing protocols, track quality indicators, and oversee program improvement initiatives.
- Provide IT support, collaborate with the IT department, and assist with community outreach and training.
- Document crisis service activities in the EHR and advocate for individuals served.
- Attend staff meetings and in-service training, and collaborate with the team to promote a supportive culture.
- Perform CPR and crisis intervention, maintain certifications, and adhere to policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Credential as a mental health professional with relevant experience.
- Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field, or Bachelors degree with 3+ years of mental health direct care experience.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Current state-mandated training and certifications.
- Excellent customer interaction, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Valid driver's license with 3+ years of driving experience.
Qualifications
