About the role
The role involves providing peer support services to individuals experiencing mental health crises through mobile crisis teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide immediate emotional support and crisis intervention to individuals in crisis.
- Assist in coordinating care with other healthcare providers and community resources.
- Document interactions and interventions for quality assurance purposes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in mental health or crisis intervention.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Proficient in using mobile crisis software and documentation systems.
Skills
- Crisis intervention techniques.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
