Help Bring Crisis Care Beyond the Walls of an Office - Join Our Mobile Crisis Team!
About the Role
Elevate, Inc. is seeking a Mental Health Professional to provide immediate, compassionate support to individuals experiencing mental health and substance use crises in the community. The role involves working alongside law enforcement, first responders, community partners, and service providers to deliver trauma-informed, person-centered crisis intervention.
Responsibilities
- Respond to crisis calls for services in the community
- Complete crisis intervention for ongoing clients
- Develop and implement crisis plans when necessary
- Coordinate care and interface with first responders
- Collaborate with internal partners (law enforcement, dispatch, county) to facilitate communication and improve service delivery
- Act as a liaison for community resources
- Utilize a trauma-sensitive, person-centered, and zero suicide approach when working with individuals and their supports
- Initiate Chapter 51 and Chapter 55 actions when indicated
- Determine appropriate level of safety planning and/or treatment referrals
- Authorize emergency detentions and inpatient behavioral health/detoxification
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records and data collection
- Provide transportation to and from emergency departments or treatment facilities as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mental Health or related field required
- Knowledge of behavioral health, substance use, and co-occurring diagnoses
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience or training in crisis intervention, preferred
- Ability to demonstrate cultural competence
- Strong understanding and implementation of self-care practices
- Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local laws, rules & regulations affecting Crisis Intervention
- Ability to collaborate and work as a part of an interdisciplinary team

Pay and Schedule
- Pay Range: $23-$28/hour
- Hours: 10PM - 6AM (24 hours/week) - rotating schedule every other weekend
