About the Role

In this grant-funded position (through Sept 2028), the Mobile Clinic Project Manager will oversee the expansion of our Mobile Clinic operations over the next two years, in line with our Rural Health Transformation Program goals. This role collaborates closely with leadership and key stakeholders both internally and externally to manage project goals, scope, and resources, ensuring successful project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Project Implementation: Oversee the implementation of Mobile Clinic expansion to additional sites and expanding partnerships and scope of services over the next two years.
  • Apply project management expertise to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, utilizing best practices and methodologies.
  • Work closely with leadership, community partners, and other key stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and resources, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Maintain thorough project documentation, including timelines, budgets, deliverables, and progress reports, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed, and projects remain aligned with defined objectives.
  • Continuously evaluate project processes and outcomes, recommending improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness in future projects.
  • Provide guidance and support to the project team, ensuring that team members have the resources, information, and direction needed to meet project goals.
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and adhere to regulatory or compliance guidelines.
  • Facilitate smooth transitions during project implementation by guiding teams through changes and managing any resistance to new processes or systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare administrative role.
  • Technical understanding of healthcare operations, finance, human resources, and the ability to adapt to evolving healthcare requirements and initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on collaboration and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated decision-making skills, with sound judgment in addressing complex issues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in public health, health care administration, or business administration.
  • Two years of experience as a project manager in a hospital, outpatient, or ambulatory/clinic setting.
  • CAPM or PMP certification.
  • Experience working in a capitated or risk-based care model and/or experience in innovative care delivery systems, particularly in rural or geographically dispersed markets.

Physical/Mental Demands

  • Light physical demands include working/sitting at a computer terminal for extended periods.
  • Mental demands include the ability to work under pressure.
