Mobile Center Driver

Position Summary

The part-time Mobile Center Driver supports the mission of the Center for Human Services by transporting and setting up the 34-foot Mobile Sensory and Accessibility Resource Center at various community events.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Captures safe transport, efficient setup and use of the Mobile Center to and from community sites.
• Maintains truck and trailer preventative maintenance by ensuring the completion of daily checks and maintenance logs.
• Schedules and coordinates utility and waste services.
• Communicates the organization's mission and Mobile Center's purpose in the community.
• Took on the responsibility of training new drivers and orienting new staff to Mobile Center procedures.

Qualifications

• High School/HiSET degree.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred.
• Clean driving record.
• Previous experience in a driving or towing role.

Miscellaneous Qualifications

• Must provide proof of personal valid vehicle insurance.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift 10 pounds at times and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Travel as needed, with overnight/weekend stays.
