About the Role
Our Blood Institute is seeking a passionate, people‑focused Phlebotomy Supervisor in Tulsa, OK. You will lead from the front, working alongside your team to create a positive donor experience and ensure every blood drive runs safely, smoothly, and successfully. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who enjoys traveling to different locations, coaching and inspiring others, and making a real difference in the community.
Pay
Competitive pay based on education and/or experience, including shift differential, holiday pay, tenure bonuses, and employee referral bonuses. Additional pay is available for candidates fluent in Spanish. A relocation bonus is negotiable.

Schedule
Varied schedule that may include early mornings, late evenings, and weekends, depending on blood drive timings.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and support team members in a collaborative, high‑energy environment.
- Motivate and engage the team while fostering accountability and teamwork.
- Create a welcoming, positive, and exceptional experience for volunteer blood donors.
- Perform phlebotomy, take vital signs, and assess donor eligibility.
- Follow and perform all duties in compliance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Lead by example while supporting the team in delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate service.
- Travel to different blood‑drive locations, ensuring each workday is dynamic and varied.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 2 years of proven leadership experience.
- Healthcare or medical experience required.
- Phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
- Willingness to drive coach vehicles.
- Ability to provide a motor‑vehicle record (MVR) with zero points and no moving/traffic violations.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and reach up to 40 lb.
