And much more! Schedule Monday-Friday (8AM-5PM) Job Overview Legacy Community Health seeks a Laboratory Operations Manager to lead the Point of Care Testing (POCT) Department. This role requires strong experience in POCT management and certification as an MLS (ASCP) or MT (AMT). Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of POCT laboratory staff
• Manage laboratory scheduling and enforce quality standards
• Support user training and compliance organization-wide
• Identify and mitigate laboratory performance gaps
• Empower team members with Epic support and training
• Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Conduct interviews, evaluations, and mentorship
• Critically assess and track laboratory metrics
• Strengthen vendor relationships
• Lead cross-functional projects
• Address and resolve incident reports and patient grievances
• Engage in leadership forums
• Ensure strategic inventory and equipment management
• Champion a robust Laboratory Quality Plan
• Lead internal and external inspections
• Follow HIPAA guidelines

Minimum Qualifications

• MLS (ASCP) or MT (AMT) certification
• Bachelor of Science Degree in a related field
• 2+ years of POCT laboratory management experience
• Advanced technical proficiency in lab sciences
• Master's degree in business or healthcare operations (optional)
